Reviewed as requested on User_talk:Kelly Martin. I can't check neutrality of material, but english and phrasing, yes:

Removed "was a dubious character" from introduction, until you find a citation (a source that called him "dubious" and why)
"Joining hands with" ... better english is---> "working with", "joining forces with", "collaborating with"
"Fundamentalists such as..." Can you find a different term, such as "Members of the left/right/religious party X such as" ..... describe not label?
Added wiki-links for major names. The articles may be written some day.
