[edit]I am well-read on the subject of sexuality and the LDS church, and I have never heard of "heterosexuals with non-heterosexual inclinations". They really don't talk about heterosexuality, but they have talked about a homosexual orientation. However, they teach it won't continue past this life, but I have never heard that the attractions themselves will be "hopefully overcome" in this life. They admit it may be a struggle, but they don't say they should be a struggle. A lot of original research.Joshuajohanson 02:19, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
Pornography
[edit]Is this the right article to include discussion of the church's teachings regarding pornography? In the last decade, the church has increased its discussion on the subject. Besides books, pamphlets, and general conference addresses on pornography, the church also maintains addiction aids and counseling specifically for those consuming pornography. The article already states in the lead paragraph that sexuality's "expression is subject to strict commandments". Does this fall within the scope of Sexuality and the LDS Church? ——Rich jj (talk) 11:26, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
This article is bollocks
[edit]This article reads likes it's been written by LDS cult members in the way that it tries to defend itself from being a homophobic organization. statements expressing that gays are welcome provided that they remain celibate prove this point. Stop trying to avoid the issue and have the nerve to actually call a spade a spade and say that the Mormon church is a homophobic institution. Wikipedia needs to rise above this shit and stop pussy-footing around trying to avoid potential law suits from cults.--ЗAНИA talk WB talk] 22:24, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
