I've added the NPOV tag because after going through the article to wikify some things, I thought much of the wording was very anti-USian. Maybe not wrong necessarily, but probably not adhering to the NPOV policy. The general themes of the article are also entirely US-centric, so hopefully some content can be added in the future dealing with this topic in a more global sense. --PeruvianLlama(spit) 07:41, 30 November 2005 (UTC)

The basic problem is that it's a college essay, not an encyclopedia article. There is nothing wrong with college essays but in order to be good they need to make an argument and argue it convincingly and that is exactly what our articles aren't supposed to do. -- Antaeus Feldspar 17:00, 20 December 2005 (UTC)

This article is a mess, and it reads like a bad college essay. Most of the sources don't even support the statements made, even when other sources might actually exist (for example, the smith, 73 citation). It's slanted so hard you could go skiing. I don't know what I'm doing in terms of cleaning it up, but my vandalism is more or less in good faith. Maybe somebody could trim it up. Perhaps this thing should just be tossed away. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:245:4100:A878:711B:C99F:91AD:8A82 (talk) 07:09, 1 March 2016 (UTC)

Retracted a previous edit (probably did it wrong anyways) because I seem to be unable to read properly. This article could still use a lot of work, especially considering the subject. It probably shouldn't sit for another 10 years, but I don't have any idea how to Wikipedia properly, though I am trying to learn. The data, I think, outlines interracial violence issues; though I question the philosophies surrounding the causes. Instead of arguing such philosophies, I believe the article could simply present them as academic opinions. I really don't know if such an article has a place on the Wiki at all, but if it does, it certainly needs some heavy work done. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:245:4100:A878:711B:C99F:91AD:8A82 (talk) 19:06, 1 March 2016 (UTC)

Fixing the Article

Hey IG and any other editors that are paying attention. Looks like fixing this article to be focused directly on the topic will take a bit of time. The article reads more like a narrative on a report vs. solely being focused on the actual issues and stating facts. I didn't get to this like I had intended to and it's late. Hopefully we can get these edits in quickly and I can rip down the notice boards indicating the major problems on this article. Til tomorrow :) Mcelite (talk) 06:03, 14 June 2019 (UTC)

Don't have the time to do that necessary work myself but I am urging you on Mcelite. This is an important topic that certainly doesn't get enough attention! AmplifyWiki (talk) 03:22, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
