Sextet Op. 71

[edit]

The "Sextet for Horns and String Quartet", Op. 81b is one of Beethoven's most lovely works. But Beethoven written one more sextet (in 1796), i.e, Op. 71: "Sextet for clarinets, horns, and bassoons in E♭ major". I think that the latter is more frequent performed. However, English is not my mother-tongue; if only someone would create the article! — Hamid Hassani (talk) 07:01, 15 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Graham87: I just remembered that you are interested in classical music and have started many useful articles, e.g Octet (Beethoven). Could you please tell your idea about the note above? Thank you. :) Hamid Hassani (talk) 14:17, 30 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Hamid Hassani: Thanks for the kind words. I agree it'd probabl be a good idea, but I don't really feel like starting the article at the moment. There are plenty of notable (but relatively minor) classical works that don't have articles here. Graham87 15:00, 30 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
