Has sexpionage really escaped the Urban Dictionary to roam free?

. For my money, I'd rename this page compromise (espionage), which Wikipedia seems to lack. But I do have to admit, this page name is definitely sexier. — MaxEnt 23:40, 10 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This article needs to be cleaned up. One of the Russian-language sources cited here (a film review at https://www.film.ru/articles/seks-za-rodinu) expressly refutes key claims made in this article, yet is cited as a "source" of said claims. The film review notes that there is no such town as "Verkhonoi" near Kazan or anywhere in Russia. It also traces the story of a sexpionage school in Kazan to a 2002 book by Inna Svechenovskaya, an author of tabloid pseudo history books with titles such as "Leonard da Vinci - Master of Secret Knowledge", "Dostoyevsky - The Russian Marquis de Sade", and "Vanga - Predictions Come True". Yet none of this is reflected in this article, which instead uncritically quotes Jason Matthews as the main source for the Kazan "sexpionage school" claim, even though he cites no documentary or any other tangible evidence for it, and casually makes extremely xenophobic, anti-Slavic remarks. Heteronormativity

In the paragraph titled "Soviet and Russian", more specifically in the sub paragraph "Specific examples", specific mention is made of homosexual individuals who were ensnared by honeytraps. However, for assumably heterosexual individuals, no such mention of their sexuality is made. I think that therefore mention of any individual's sexuality in this subparagraph should be omitted.
