Merger proposal

[edit]

I propose a merger for this article (Sewer Rat (roller coaster)) into Raptor Attack, as the article hasn't virtually changed in the last year, and as the ride is now closed there's no likelihood that more references will become available and therefore the notability is in question and can not be proved. I believe some of the contents of this article will improve the history section of the Raptor Attack article (although the majority of the information on this article is shown in the other), much of the unreferenced information is about it's closing and Raptor Attack - it is basically the same ride, just re-themed and therefore doesn't need its own article. I recommend making this a redirect to Raptor Attack#History and moving some of the information there.
Thanks

I would probably agree, but the content on Raptor Attck should be left as it is and the history section should basically just say it previously operated as Rat Ride/Sewer Rat as the same coaster and at opening it was unique and one of the most themed rides in the UK etc etc. Tom Green (talk) 09:13, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'd agree. Despite the coaster being the same there is a few differences between their infoboxes. I'd recommend checking as to which is the correct statistic to use. E.g. was the top speed really slowed by 10 miles per hour (16 km/h) but it remained the same duration of 1:25? Did the restriction change from 112 centimetres (44 in) to 119 centimetres (47 in)? Also the opening date should be changed to the original 1987 date. Regards Themeparkgc  Talk  09:54, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
