Proposed Merger
[edit]I am recommending the article on Sewell Park, along with the one on Round Rock Campus, be merged into the Texas State University page. The reasons are as follows:
1. Sewell Park fails to reach the level of notability that makes it more deserving of a separate page than other university campuses. Aside from it being a place where Barack Obama visited one time, it doesn't seem to be notworthy.
2. Wikipedia:UNIGUIDE already outlines a section for campuses within the content of the main article. This seems most appropriate for both of these campuses.
3. There isn't much in this article to begin with.
All in all, this is a fairly mediocre article that could greatly improve the main campus' article if the two were to be combined (along with the Round Rock Campus one). --Ðrdak (T) 08:54, 9 December 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drdak (talk • contribs)
The contents of the Sewell Park page were merged into Texas State University and it now redirects there. For the contribution history and old versions of the merged article please see its history. |
