Interpreting a source
[edit]AKDOT&PF website yielded this document [1] If you scroll down to page 13 it finally mentions this project. If I am reading this correctly it says there is no money currently budgeted for anything related to this project. Does anyone else see that I am I misinterpreting it? - As I mentioned on your user talk, this current study process is officially dead. I've yet to find any stories which mention that, though I'm pretty sure I read something previously to that effect. The document you link to is in regards to what DOTPF calls a STIP (Statewide Transportation Improvement Plan? I forget.). This specific document lists the projects and amounts that the Anchorage AMATS committee recommends to state planners. The vast majority of these requests (bond-funded projects typically excluded) are dependent upon federal funding (and of course, we haven't had a House Transportation Committee chair from Alaska for quite a few years now). The annual STIPs themselves should also be online (I believe the links occasionally migrate), which may provide more clues. RadioKAOS – Talk to me, Billy 21:11, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
