Human Waste
[edit]I'm getting a negative for Wikipedia pages when it comes to the band "Human Waste." Anyone care to research into that matter?
Does his site even exist anymore?
[edit]It seems that all links to his site are now dead. Is there any alternative sources? 75.152.155.200 (talk) 22:03, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Seth's sites are now active again and can be reached via www.wickedsickrecords.com J.J. Putnam (talk) 14:18, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN
[edit]"Putnam claimed that Hatebreed's friends were "donuts", and then formed a circle and began to punch each him." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.46.49.98 (talk) 16:11, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
The sentence has been removed, simply because Seth doesn't ever recall using any such word, and I've never heard him use anything even like it either. It seemed silly and unverifiable at best, so I pulled it. J.J. Putnam (talk) 14:20, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Two month correlation.
[edit]"a coma for two months due to an overdose of ... two months' worth of Ambien sleeping pills."
Are we sure the above is not sarcasm? If sourced, I'd question the tongue-in-cheek nature of the statement. 67.5.147.94 (talk) 17:58, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
Nope, no sarcasm i'm afraid....he did indeed consume all 2 months/60 pills worth of sleeping pills at once. J.J. Putnam (talk) 14:21, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
I think he meant to say that he found it a bit large of a coincidence that two months worth of sleeping pills put him in a coma for two months. Personally I find it rather amusing.207.5.160.27 (talk) 08:40, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Removed some stuff
[edit]I removed some stuff added by Julie. Discussion of the article belongs here on the talk page, not within the article itself.
- <ref> References: Via personal interview with Seth Putnam in our living room tonight. We (we being me, his wife, and he being he, Seth Putnam) own and manage his website together and wanted to share some new info as well as get some lingering falsehoods straightened out...so, to that end - everything on this page as of 1/18/2009 is more or less accurate. There are a few picyune things that are a bit off but not worth taking issue with, but beyond that it, "looks about right" according to Seth (who, if you don't know this, has a better memory than the computer we're writing this on...in other words, I typically ask him for the answer to a ? '''before''' I google it...). We wrote a few new paragraphs and did some minor and a couple major edits to the original text. Overall, it was done well, so thanks to whoever actually wrote it firstly. </ref>
I also removed File:Seth waiting outside Chris Barnes' Tour Bus 2003.jpg because it does not exist. — CharlotteWebb 10:49, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Thanks! I've just now figured out how to add photos and will do so once I get some sleep. Thanks for helping the newbie here! J.J. Putnam (talk) 14:22, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
- I've re-worded a few bits and removed some of the material obviously not appropriate for an encyclopedia (who cares that he once stage-dived at a concert? It's simply not notable) but it still reads like a fan page. All the bits attributed to what Seth claims needs to be sourced to somewhere he's said it in print or nuked. Incidentally, I seem to remember there was a fair bit of stuff he'd written on sethputnam.com that could back this up; the site's long-gone but you should be able to retrieve the text from the Way Back Machine. Anything else I can help with, let me know. Blackmetalbaz (talk) 16:43, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
this needs more info
[edit]This article needs more information. The info it gives is very limited. --Lordnecronus (talk) 18:18, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
Someone Keeps Removing Information Regarding His Drug Overdose/Possible Suicide Attempt
[edit]I posted information, fully cited, regarding Seth Putnam's drug overdose and it was removed. This is not the first time that someone has removed this information from his page...and I'm not sure why, as it is absolutely relevant to his biography and, quite frankly, one of the more interesting pieces of information about him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.89.44.225 (talk) 20:11, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Vaginal Jesus
[edit]Is the guy known as "Fuckface Chainsaw" Seth Putnam by any chance? Because I don't know anyone with either of those names. Frankly, I think Putnam's a jackass and if he was with those Nazi scumbags, I wouldn't really be surprised. But I did read here that Seth Putnam has had some affiliation with that band, I'm wondering if he still does. It sounds like a nickname he wouldn't be ashamed to take, being the lead singer for a band with a name as repulsive as "Anal Cunt". unsigned comment by some random complainy person
I need to say... well... the above paragraph has fuck all to do with the article. Seriously, who cares if you find the name "Anal Cunt" repulsive? Well, I'll tell you one thing: the people who do care, they're not on Wikipedia. Probably. Point is, this isn't the right place to be complaining about something you find offensive. Thank you and good night. --Lordnecronus (talk) 00:27, 15 September 2009 (UTC) previous comment by somebody who responds to other people's comments before he reads them
I'm not saying I find anything offensive in the article, I just noticed Putnam was affiliated with Vaginal Jesus and I wondered if he is "fuckface chainsaw". I'm asking a question and you're accusing me of complaining. 64.127.152.35 (talk) 19:46, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
Judging by the sound of their first album, either the guy has incredible vocal range or there are two vocalists. Either way he could easily have done the vocals at some point.207.5.160.27 (talk) 15:41, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
It has not been confirmed that he was actually a member of that band. He knew their members, and might have worked with them in some way, but the identities of that band's members have not been mentioned publicly. It is possible that he was a member but it is not certain. 173.51.128.50 (talk) 11:11, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
- No, he actually was in Vaginal Jesus. it's been proven and confirmed. they even had a plan to do a show before he died. He was either the drummer or vocalist or both (this is what I gathered from looking at sources) Second Skin (talk) 01:44, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
The guy even admitted to being part of the band. --46.176.162.177 (talk) 19:32, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
Bo Bice?
[edit]I just want to know if Seth really collaborated with "American Idol" winner Bo Bice, mainly because I doubt someone who was on such a family friendly show and records pop albums would have someone like Seth Putnam from Anal Cunt I'm just wondering if this isn't just vandalism Regards Zobango (talk) 23:14, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
Same deal with BB King - come now, Seth Putnam really working with BB King? Bullshit. 86.179.199.85 (talk) 00:49, 26 June 2010 (UTC) It should be added AC pulls out of more shows than they play —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.20.134.100 (talk) 07:46, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
Gay
[edit]Shouldn't the article mention that he's gay? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.144.38.35 (talk) 09:27, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
- Considering he was married, I'm going to go with "no", unless you can provide a reliable source stating that he is. This source should also demonstrate how that is notable enough to be included in an encyclopedia. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 18:36, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
Well to whom it may interest, uncyclopedia has a terribly unfunny article on Seth Putnam, and it needs serious working on, and might I add it needs to be re-done by somebody who is a fan of AC-whom would understand their sense of humor. It might be funny to say that he had an AIDS related heart attack, and add in some other things based on real life, theres a little in there thats actually funny and pertinent, but the most part is unfunny randomness humor. I am not editing it simply because I don't want to, but if anyone wants to edit uncyclopedia's article on Seth Putnam, go ahead and edit to make it a solid fact that he was a homosexual. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.8.125.94 (talk) 12:15, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
- This talk page is for improving this article, not some other (non-)encyclopedia's article. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 19:12, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
Incantation
[edit]That band’s name should link to Incantation (band), could someone please take care of that? --217.83.60.153 (talk) 08:28, 14 June 2011 (UTC)
