I'm creating this page because I believe the subject meets item #5 of the Wikipedia:Notability (academics) standard with the "Eugene Butler Endowed Chair in Agricultural Biotechnology." Arguably criteria #3 would also apply based on being elected a CSSA fellow, but when I started working on this page I realized there is no wiki page for the Crop Science Society of America, so not sure if that cause it to not be considered a major scientific society as required for criteria #3.
