In the final paragraph Peresson is quoted indirectly in the present tense. Since he's now dead, an indirect quote should be past tense. The words reported by his wife seem like a direct quote, so I did not change their tense, but inclosed them in " ". BTW, to whom did his wife "send" that quote?
