Merger proposal
[edit]I propose that Serbian diaspora be merged into Serb diaspora. Those two articles have a huge overlap, as Serbs represent some 87% of the population in Serbia. Other ethnic groups from Serbia who emigrated abroad are described in articles like Hungarian diaspora etc. For example, Jews who left Serbia for United States are not regarded as Serbian, but as Jewish diaspora. I checked other articles, and I found no other example of having two separate diaspora articles, one for the country, other for the ethnicity. Vanjagenije (talk) 14:05, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
- Although they may overlap, they are not the same. As for Serb disapora, this includes the large communities of Bosnian and Croatian Serbs, which are not under Serbian diaspora. The censuses tend to not include ethnicity or ethnic origin.--Zoupan 18:22, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
