Hi, I'm an employee at Sensis in Australia and am looking to move this page from being a disambiguation page to an article solely about the Australian company, as each of the other companies listed on this page have additional words in their name.
In my opinion, that isn't a good enough reason. You would need to show why they are the primary topic for this disambiguation page, and why significantly more people searching for Sensis would be looking for your company rather than the others. Joseph2302 (talk) 00:20, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Also, community consensus appears to be that the Australian company isn't even notable enough for it's own page, it appears to be a section of Telstra- therefore this disambiguation page is indeed correct. Joseph2302 (talk) 00:23, 10 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for clearing that up Joseph, and sorry again for the confusion. To clarify, however, we are no longer part of Telstra, and are the largest provider of marketing services in Australia. I'm going to put up a draft in my personal Sandbox and would appreciate you taking a look at it when it's done - then we can discuss what might be the best course of action with the disambiguation page. Thanks again for your guidance.
This disambiguation page is not being deleted ever, it's perfectly valid per WP:DISAMBIGUATION. Even if your company deserves an article, the article will not be replacing the disambiguation page. Joseph2302 (talk) 00:27, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No worries Joseph, I completely understand now. If it appears as though I'm trying to go against Wikipedia policy that was not my intent and I apologise - still trying to get my head around everything. Will hopefully have the article in my Sandbox by tomorrow.
