Errata - Can't edit the article, since I am newly registered:

Hello, I would like to point out an error regarding the definition of a Heterojunction. What is described under "Heterojunction" is actually a "Homojunction" (a junction of semiconductors that have the same bandgap energy). A Heterojunction is a junction between semiconductors that have different bandgap energies. Doping does not play a role in this case. If we are talking about p-n junctions (Homojunctions or Heterojunctions) than different doping types defines its orientation (p-n, n-p etc.).

Thank you and best regards, J.B. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jostbalent (talkcontribs) 08:14, 3 April 2019 (UTC)

Doping section minor clarification

"The process of intentionally adding impurities to a semiconductor is known as doping." may be more accurate than "The process of adding controlled impurities .... " — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.2.141.98 (talk) 19:40, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
