Ontologies as a defining condition?
[edit]I find it strange that “semantic analytics” should be defined by the use of ontologies. After all, they are just one tool in the toolchest of natural language processing and computational semantics people. Is this possibly a marketing term used by just a few people for something otherwise known as text mining or text analytics or natural language understanding? Clarification requested. --Thüringer ☼ (talk) 12:33, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
