Booth is not claimed to be a direct descendent of John Wilkies, i believe the show states he is a NEPHEW of the assassain. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.131.192.139 (talk) 01:06, 15 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Removed this sentence: "The next episode deals with Brennan refusing to attend Booth's funeral." on the grounds that it's not cited, and the "next" episode" it refers to hasn't aired at the time of this writing. 67.142.130.41 (talk) 22:46, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's from a preview, so it isn't the next episode. And, two, hulu.com may not be a citation of accuracy and rules of citation. But it's a citation. I'll remove it, though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.191.132.18 (talk) 05:12, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

His fear of clowns should be mentioned, it plays a major part in one episode, and is mentioned in others. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 160.36.94.244 (talk) 21:27, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Place of birth?

[edit]

I think that this:

During a conversation with Dr. Wyatt, we learn that Booth is from Pittsburgh, when he states he is a Steelers fan. However, this conflicts with his stating to Dr. Brennan in Season 4 that he is from Philadelphia.

should be changed to:

In Season 4, Seeley states to Dr. Brennan that he is from Philadelphia, however, he is a Steelers fan.

I live in the Philly area and have a friend who has lived here all his life who is a devout Steelers fan, so I think that to extrapolate that that means that he is from Pittsburgh is going too far, esp when they have stated he is from Philly. -Zeus- 16:44, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

I would agree, as it's also established clearly in the show that he is a fan of both the Phillies and the Flyers. Although it's odd that he would root for his hometown MLB and NHL team while not the Eagles, his sports allegiances would seem to corroborate his stated hometown rather than question it -Al (the18thbeatle)--The18thbeatle (talk) 06:34, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Booth's Hallucinations

[edit]

The original article writer states that Booth was not hallucinating the ghost of Parker, as Brennan saw the "ghost" in the cemetary. As shown in the episode "The Critic in the Cabernet", Booth was actually hallucinating. I took from this that the "ghost" Booth and Brennan both saw in the cemetary was a soldier, though only Booth saw him as Parker.

Is booth psychic or a savant? his hallucinations(and there has been more than one) have always known more than he consciously did. a a normal subconscious does not exhibit itself in these ways. --mebadatbball

Military Service

[edit]

The character's "Salad Bar" can be seen in his office on episode 23 of season 4. I cannot make out all his awards however it is very clear that has earned a Pathfinder Badge. Any assistance on finding out what the 7 other ribbons are, would be greatly appretiated. --RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 09:02, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Upon further inspection there is a shot showing four medals. One is very clearly a BSM, and another is a NDSM; the two others maybe a GCM and campaign medal of some sort. --RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 09:31, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Conflicting information, the sidebar says former sergeant major and the article says master sergeant, which would be more likely as it doesn't seem like he was in long enough to get to SGM.

Degree

[edit]

Does the series ever explain how Booth was able to join the FBI. The FBI seem to require a university degree and i cant remember him ever saying he went to a university, unless its the university of army sniping.

Age

[edit]

How old is Booth. Usually when aging a fictitious character I would start by looking at the actors age. 41 however is too young for Booth.

1 He was a master sergeant in the US Army. Thats a minimum 9 year hitch with 21 years being average for promotion. 2 He has a University Degree + experience, or a University Degree + appropiate industry exams or a JD. So at least six years in education. 3 In season 4 episode 6 it was stated that booth was in the FBI for twelve years. Assuming one season one year Booth is probably now been in the FBI for 14 years

This would suggest that Booth has been operating in the adult world for 29 years probably more since he would be unlikely to be promoted in just 9 years to E-9.

This would suggest that Booth is into his late 40s and possibly over 50. Which seems weird. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.78.26.22 (talk) 23:25, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Booth was a blanket-hugger, where promotions are a little quicker. He could have gotten his degree while in the Army. Let's say he's 44. That gives him his 14 years as a Fed, plus 12 years in the Army. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Houndawg3 (talkcontribs) 23:16, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Booth's age is established in Season 3, as 35 years old.

Infobox

[edit]

I've gone ahead and made a wp:bold edit to make all of the infoboxes for Bones characters match. Some were orange, other purple, etc. The ones for Temperance "Bones" Brennan were light green, and that seemed the most visible/readable. I'm not at all attached to the colour "lightgreen" but wanted something uniform and had to pick something. Jhfortier (Talk · contribs ) 17:38, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Daughter's Name

[edit]

Please stop changing the name of Booth and Bones' daughter until it is confirmed on the show, unless you can find a reliable source to support it. 150.135.210.75 (talk) 20:31, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Explain to me this

[edit]

I don't see the importance of including Booth's kill count. 21:14, 25 April 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.181.160.60 (talk)
