[edit]How about making separate articles for series 1 and 2 just like other version of Big Brother (UK, US, Australia) who has individual article for each season? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Moon Gin (talk • contribs) 14:02, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

– I could not find sources to support that each season was individually numbered by the broadcaster or the production company for this edition. In an effort to align the naming convention guidelines of WP:BIGBRO with the established guidelines of WP:NCTV I'm proposing we move the individual season articles to the names suggested. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 20:00, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- Support, as per nom. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 04:08, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
- Support as long as the title really is Secret Story and not Big Brother France (or something in French, with English-language sources actually more commonly using the French name). This "Title_here x (Country_name_here)" stuff is just aberrant. We don't do that with any articles titles about anything, meanwhile we have a stable and site-wide TV convention of "Title_here (season X)", from which there is no reason to diverge in this case. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 06:18, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
- Support per WP:NCTV. Seems sources in English call it Secret Story. --Gonnym (talk) 13:54, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
- After being informed on a different move of not using the correct adjective, I've noticed we didn't use the correct one here either. This should be changed to Secret Story (French season 1) etc (as used in the series one - Secret Story (French TV series)). --Gonnym (talk) 14:06, 28 June 2018 (UTC)

– The previous move was not completed with the correct WP:NCTV naming convention. NCTV says to Prefix the country of broadcast (
adjective)
, which in this case would be French instead of France (which is similar to Big Brother (French TV series)). Gonnym (talk) 21:01, 3 July 2018 (UTC) --Relisting. Andrewa (talk) 02:51, 13 July 2018 (UTC)

Oppose For me this seems like an issue that needs to be discussed at WP:NCTV since this issue has also appeared at the Australian & Danish RMs. When I proposed these RMs I looked at various examples and the adjective was not used for season articles but for the parent articles. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 00:5c5, 7 July 2018 (UTC)

- Oppose? per User:Alucard 16 - I'm honestly not sure this is a quick and easy move. As mentioned by Alucard, "WP:NCTV (as the guidance for editors) is not clear that the adjective should be applied to season articles like its parent series". As mentioned in the Denmark discussion, other examples include "X Factor (Denmark season 8) and Idols (Denmark season 1)"; or in the Argentina discussion, examples like "Bailando por un Sueño (Argentina season 1)". As mentioned by User:IJBall in the Australia discussion, "there are numerous current examples of "Australia season [x]" in use – e.g. The Voice (Australia season 7), The Bachelor (Australia season 2), etc. So this probably requires a wider discussion on the question." Paintspot Infez (talk) 18:17, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
- The fact that some titles don't yet comply with the guideline is not a rationale to make fewer of them comply with the guideline. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 21:59, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
- Support per WP:TVSEASON and WP:CONSISTENCY, even if we need to do more consistency work with regard to old articles like The Bachelor (Australia season 2), etc. WP:There is no deadline. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 21:59, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
