Hi Jebiguess, I have moved this article to Draft space as it's not currently ready for mainspace. After following recommendations for improvement, please submit the draft through the WP:AFC process. Suggestions:

The lede needs to be clearer. What year did the battle take place?
Who or what is M23 - the link you've used is to a disambiguation page, and all the linked articles are roads.
The first three references are bare URLs (and therefore prone to link rot) - please provide full-format references.
Incorrect date formats used in several references.
Copyedit to clarify abbreviations, etc.
