Shouldn't the German order of battle include a light cruiser, if one was damage in the battle? Sailboatd2 (talk) 15:30, 13 May 2013 (UTC)
Sense
[edit]This does not make sense (section Background):
- ... was sent to raid German minesweepers clearing swept a channel through British minefields in the Helgoland Bight
--Mortense (talk) 10:22, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
- You have a point. How's this re-write: "On 17 November 1917 a strong force of cruisers under Vice Admiral Trevylyan Napier was sent to attack German minesweepers, which were clearing swept a channel through British minefields in the Heligoland Bight. The intentions of the German force had been revealed by British Naval Intelligence, allowing the British to mount an ambush."
CE
[edit]Began a tidy-up; auto-ed, citations scan, dupe wl, templates changed bolding by ; to ''' as the semi-colon is apparently illegible to machine readers. Not sure about which German ships in the OOB weren't involved in the action. Keith-264 (talk) 12:34, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Dfvj: Thanks for that, I suspected that I'd got the order wrong. Regards Keith-264 (talk) 10:23, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
