Signal History

[edit]

Does anyone mind if I add content to this page about the history of the Seaside Signal. I am an employee and thus there may be a conflict of interest. One fix might be that I only add history prior to the recent ownership. Let me know what you think. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Thedudejessemullen (talkcontribs) 00:57, 24 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

I don't think that's a problem. I'm sure you know better than to make it sound like a promo for the paper. I'll take a look at it when you're done. Katr67 01:00, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is a big project so I may start with the more tedious stuff, for example the format changes. After that I would like to tackle ownership changes and major events in the papers history. If there is any specific content you feel the page should have on the newspaper, please let me know and I'll try to get it. On another note, if I add anything that feels out of context it may just be because I ran out of time that day to fill it in. If I do that, I will let you know on the talk page.(Thedudejessemullen 00:12, 25 January 2007 (UTC))[reply]
Take a look around at the other newspapers in Category:Newspapers published in Oregon for ideas about content. The Oregonian is a good example, of course. I can't think of any other specific examples right now, but a lot of the papers use a newspaper infobox, which is a spiffy addition. Katr67 00:27, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ownership

[edit]

Mullen, Hicks no longer own the paper. Article needs to be updated. I don't know who owns it now. --Thedudejessemullen (talk) 01:52, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
