Henry Rollins' tattoo

[edit]

I was thinking of removing the following line: "Henry Rollins has a large tattoo on his back of an image with large text reading 'SEARCH & DESTROY'" I don't know (and couldn't find out googling) if Rollins has this tattoo because of the song or because of some other reason. The tattoo actually says "SEARCH & DESTROY" not "SEARCH AND DESTROY," which is the correct name of the song. (I switched the "AND" to "&" in my last edit.) Whoever knows please clear this up. Thanks. - Rocket000 00:20, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Seek & Destroy Redirect

[edit]

I've added the ""Search and Destroy" redirects here. For the Metallica song "Seek & Destroy", see Seek_&_Destroy." section to the top of the page. Mike 17:48, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Crossover cover

[edit]

I have heard an amazing cover version of the lyrics from S&D set to the tune of "This Is The End" by The Doors, but don't know who concocted this. Any info about that would be much appreciated. Maikel 07:01, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Utah Saints cover

[edit]

This song has been covered by an English electro-dance band Utah Saints on their second album "Two" (2000) entitled "Techknowledgy". The song also featured in hit video game Carmageddon TDR 2000. Duxi90 (talk) 20:48, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Comment

[edit]

If this so-called influential San Francisco "Search and Destroy" magazine exists, why doesn't it have its own Wikipedia article?

Pop Culture

[edit]

This song is featured in the beginning(?) of a LOST episode. Forgot which season/episode. Someone more in tune with the show might add that info in the "Pop culture" frame. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dcalvitti (talkcontribs) 03:41, 2 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
