December 2006

[edit]

Totally inadequate article, at the moment at least.

Is this actually just blurb / a press release, or does it merely seem that way? Drummle 19:28, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd agree. I've made a couple of changes to remove the more outrageous promotional stuff. But O'Brien is someone who should have a Wikipedia entry that's up to the right standards, and I'll try to add more and make it better -- but not tonight. R Cornwell 21:02, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm with you on that -- seems like the notability notice should be removed? If you know the details to improve it then I'll leave it to you... Drummle 01:01, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

January 2007

[edit]

I've added a considerable amount of information to this article today and hope that the notability notice can now be removed. TriplePA 19:47, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the notice - the article now clearly states that O'Brien has had plenty of work published, a sure sign of notability. (You could probably have removed the banner yourself, if you thought that the concerns were sorted!) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Oliver Brown (talkcontribs) 21:30, 20 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Thank you, Oliver. Your help much appreciated by this Wikipedia novice who couldn't find her way to the instructions for removing said notice. TriplePA 23:18, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bibliography

[edit]

I have commenced a tidy-up of the Bibliography section using cite templates and tables for short stories, poems and/or book reviews. Capitalization and punctuation follow standard cataloguing rules in AACR2 and RDA, as much as Wikipedia templates allow it. ISBNs and other persistent identifiers, where available, are commented out, but still available for reference. This is a work in progress; feel free to continue. There is no need to comment out ISBNs and other persistent identifiers these should be available to all readers not hidden away so you have to edit page to find them . Keith D (talk) 12:29, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
