This page should not be speedily deleted because Sean Brasel is one of Miami's most renowned chefs. He has been given the title as the Grilling God, has been featured in Choppen, Fight Knife, Ink and other shows and is considered a local Miami Celebrity Chef. He has also been featured in reputable sites and magazines such as Zagat, Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road and others.

Here are a couple of links to consider: http://www.foodrepublic.com/2013/05/29/grilling-god-sean-brasel/ - https://www.zagat.com/b/miami/chef-sean-brasel-dishes-on-meat-and-his-success - http://www.miami.com/list-meat-market-chef-sean-brasel-article - http://altimapalmbeach.com/2015/10/26/the-dish-on-knife-fight-celebrity-chef-sean-brasel/ - http://www.digestmiami.com/chefs/sean-brasel -

Sean should be featured on Wikipedia in the same way as other chefs such as Dale Talde, Kristen Kish, Ilan D. Hall, etc. --Feliperubio8810 (talk) 16:40, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Feliperubio8810: First, none of those awards are mentioned in the article. (Although, not every guest chef on Knife Fight, Iron Chef, etc. is truly a notable chef.) If they were mentioned, that would be something to go on. Second, if you can show that he's gotten substantial coverage in those national magazines, that would be a reason to keep the article, since he'd then meet WP:GNG. —C.Fred (talk) 16:53, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
After looking at the interviews, I've declined the request for speedy deletion. I've also integrated the links into the article. —C.Fred (talk) 17:20, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Sean is a Famous Chef! He should be featured in the same way as other Celebrity Chefs. --8.30.104.74 (talk) 16:42, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
