The claim for Sea Lion Park being "first to charge admission" is incorrect. By 1877, and probably since opening in 1866, Woodward's Gardens charged 25 cents admission for adults and 10 cents for children. See http://nbc-lumber.com/Leslie/Ch19.htm Kstern999 (talk) 18:49, 29 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
