"It is an elaborately carved table from around 1600"
[edit]According to a programmme broadcast on BBC Two today, the table was acquired by Bess of Hardwick in the 1570s, so must date from considerably before 1600. Harfarhs (talk) 20:25, 12 May 2023 (UTC)
- Yes changed to "about 1570" per the NT page, though I must admit I wonder about that .... Johnbod (talk) 01:17, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
