Merge

Script supervisor (this article) and Script Supervisor (the other article) are both new articles from December 2005. Script Supervisor is the superior article, as it is more detailed and has references, but Script supervisor is the correct capitalization, and it also has plenty of independent material. I agree with merging, and will do it this week if no one has a problem. Iluvcapra 08:03, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

Great, thanks! Melchoir 08:45, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

Script girl

I removed some other rambling language, but comment is needed re

It wasn't until the end of the studio era that the term became truly archaic. It remains obsolete to this day and, in modern contexts, may even be perceived as having pejorative connotations.

This is not what WP:SYNTH is intended to prohibit, bcz it appears to have not so much a hidden agenda as a mislaid one: In any case, if the studio system sustained it, say how; if the two changes simply coincided in time, mention a numerical approximation of that time, rather than the existing language that has the effect of hinting causality.
The phrase "remains obsolete" likewise wanders: A presumption inherent in obsolescence is that it's forever, like extinction, so don't bother noting that the presumptively permanent condition has not been reversed yet.
The phrase "in modern contexts, may even be perceived as having pejorative connotations" sounds silly: is there an occupational use of "girl" that's not routinely considered demeaning and thus pejorative? If this is about anything beyond that, it should be more specific, and the applicability of "even" should be clarified.
