[edit]Propose to move this definition to Wiktionary. Even the source is explicitly from a dictionary rather than an encyclopedia. Content from this article not already represented in the existing Wiktionary entry could be merged in. --Shorn again (talk) 18:41, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
- I'd make this a disambiguation pages as "screed" means a number of thins and then use {{wiktionary}} template to link through to there. (Emperor (talk) 14:05, 29 April 2010 (UTC))
- As a "user" I found this page helpful - more so than the Wiktionary page. Firstly because of the pictures, secondly because it goes into more detail about the different meanings. I would therefore prefer to see this page expanded instead of deleting it! 84.144.68.125 (talk) 13:38, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
- Seconded, found it helpful. 24.217.133.14 (talk) 21:38, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
So what do Americans call a screed?
[edit]In other words, what word is used in American English for a thin, top layer of material (traditionally sand and cement), poured in situ on top of the structural concrete or insulation, on top of which other finishing materials can be applied? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.111.141.202 (talk) 16:42, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
