Scott Valentine's "Accident" with a 4-ton truck

What happened to Scott Valentine on September 17,1981, which is often referred to as 'an accident" was in fact "Attempted Vehicular Manslaughter," by a vicious and proven to be drunk driver, who was caught fleeing the scene, then convicted and who served 17 years for his attempted vehicular manslaughter of actor Scott Valentine.
