Limitations cover
[edit]I copied the image of the cover of Turow's new book Limitations from the amazon.com web site and put it here. It seems less legible than the others. Maybe that's only because the letters are smaller. But if whoever put the others there can improve this one, please do. Michael Hardy 00:05, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

Which river?
[edit]Where in Turow's novels is it stated that the river that flows through the Tri-Cities is the Mississippi (as is currently asserted in this article)? Michael Hardy (talk) 01:07, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
Chapter 3 of The Burden of Proof says that the Kindle River's swift waters ran here, through various tributaries, into the Mississippi: that it was originally named La Chandelle by Jean-Baptiste DuSable who stopped there on his way from New Orleans to Chicago. The river branches and rejoins in the city. You are told that the three townships - DuSable, Moreland, and Kewahnee - are more usually referred to as Kindle, particularly after it was (re)discovered in the 1960s that DuSable had been black. I have amended the entry accordingly.Thomas Peardew (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 18:55, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
