Recreate Scott Disick article

[edit]

This article was protected back in 2015, I think its time to be fair and give Scott Disick his own article.--Proudpakistani11 (talk) 01:42, 30 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. He is now known independently from Kourtney Kardashian, has his own clothing brand, is constantly in the tabloids with his own headlines and will soon be receiving his own reality tv show. Mukedits (talk) 20:30, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I don’t understand why he wouldn’t have his own article, even if he was only known through the Kardashians. Wikipedia has many articles about peripheral characters in famous works of fiction, viz. Sancho Panza, Queequeg, and almost every named character in Les Misérables.

To me it seems like some special interest doesn’t want this article to exist, though I’m not sure why. It should absolutely be restored. Wrosenb2 (talk) 00:28, 15 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The article has been deleted several times (2009, 2015); however, Scott Disick has appeared on more than 147 episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, he has his own clothing line, has 23.1 million Instagram followers, and has his own TV show Flip It Like Disick. There was even a petition on change.org a few years ago requesting that he have his own page and three articles written about him not having a page, so there is certainly a demand for the page. He also appeared regularly on Rob & Chyna, I Am Cait, Kourtney and Khloé Take The Hamptons, Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, and guest starred on several other shows like Punk'd and Royal Pains. While at the time of deletion he may not have been notable enough, his work as a reality TV star on nearly 200 episodes of various shows certainly qualifies him as notable enough for a page, even if he is associated primarily with the Kardashians. This needs to be discussed again and his page should be restored. Mukedits (talk) 00:59, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Under the Business ventures, Talentless, I'm suggesting that the official website https://talentless.co/ is referenced. Ashleybburns (talk) 23:19, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: per WP:EL, we don't place external links in the body of the article. M.Bitton (talk) 23:38, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The Ross School

[edit]

It’s not possible for him to have attended that school. It’s a k-12 school that was created in 1991 when he was 8. It was created as an all girl school, not going coed until 2002. Scott Disick was 19 then, too old to even be a senior. Motherseer (talk) 11:59, 11 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I believe an edit to Business ventures, under "Talentless", next to the line "In 2018, Disick began his own clothing line, Talentless." should reference the Talentless.co website, more directly it should reference the URL https://talentless.co/pages/about which gives relevant information about Scott's involvement.

I believe this provides relevance and notability to that article, it is not designed to be promotional, but provide accurate information to the user on the brand which he started. Beeeurns91 (talk) 19:09, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
