I will take a look at this. Review coming over the next few days. REDMAN 2019 (talk) 10:53, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

General

[edit]
  • Do we know how many appearances he made for Welshpool? If so, then it should be added to the infobox.
Afraid not. It's not a professional football league.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • A "Personal life" section should probably be created. The death of his father seems to have made quite a impact on him. Also, I'm seeing references to children being born. Why is there no mention of marriage or his life outside football? Surely there are sources for it?
I've put together a personal life section. Yeah you were right about his father.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Cheltenham Town

[edit]
  • Try to avoid red-links. Such as 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08 and 2009-10 Cheltenham Town seasons. Just link it to "x" in English football for the relevant year.
Done.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • "when Cheltenham played out a 2–2 draw" > "in a 2–2 draw".
Done.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • The source for his FA cup debut just shows that he was playing. It doesn't say anything about a debut.
Done.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • His league debut against Barnet and the rest of the 2005–06 season apart from the play-off final is unreferenced.
Done.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Ref 12 has nothing to do with the sentence it's referencing.
Done.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • "He made 40 appearances across the 2008–09 season but could not prevent the club from suffering relegation back into League Two." ref needed.
Done.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • "He was given the number 1 shirt for the 2009–10 season following the departure of Higgs, and made 44 appearances as Cheltenham finished just one place and four points above relegation into non-league." Ref needed.
--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • "He played all 50 games of the 2010–11 season," Ref needed
Done.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • "He was an ever-present in league and cup competitions across the 54 game campaign" ref needed.
Done.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • "He played 49 of the club's 50 games of the 2013–14 season as Cheltenham dropped to 17th-position." ref needed.
Done.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Aberdeen

[edit]
  • Is it really nessercery to mention both of the club's nicknames right before the result of his first two games? I would just remove them.
Done.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Ref 31 makes no mention of Brown playing. It just talks about the other loanee.
Changed.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • There is no mention of Collin's Rotherham connections in the source.
Added another source and removed Rotherham.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Port Vale

[edit]
  • "2018-19 Port Vale F.C. season" repeat linked here.
Done.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • "He was named on the League Two team of the week after keeping a clean sheet in a 1–0 win over Salford City on 17 October." In what year?
Done.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Career statistics

[edit]
  • The red-links need linking same as above.

Comments

[edit]

There is quite a lot of work to be done here. Mostly on The Cheltenham section and with the creation of the "personal life" section. So I'm putting this on hold for now.

I believe I have addressed those concerns.--EchetusXe 21:27, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Well done. I am happy to pass this now. REDMAN 2019 (talk) 11:38, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Substantial article, meeting of GA criteria implicates DYK pass. Article was nominated within 7 days of passing GA. No concerning pings on Earwigs. QPQ has been completed. Hook is interesting, cited, and short enough for DYK. Morgan695 (talk) 17:09, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
