Discussion of tone issues
[edit]One IP made a series of substantial edits (the only edits from that IP besides one on Melio but i'm giving benefit of the doubt and not assuming WP:Paid) that read more like fawning over him versus wikipedia's stated WP:Tone. If we could edit the political position sections to read less like an ad for him this article would be well served. WanukeX (talk) 02:13, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
Shadow Ministry
[edit]Following precedent set by previous articles, I added Aitchison's position as Shadow Minister for Housing, Diversity and Inclusion to his infobox, all previous Leaders of the Opposition, most notably being Andrew Scheer have their positions as Shadow Minister listed in their infobox. Can we clear up whether or not Shadow Ministry positions will be present in infoboxes. Factchecker72946482 (talk) 17:51, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Factchecker72946482: Seems like most of the pages of MPs listed at Official Opposition Shadow Cabinet of the 44th Parliament of Canada do not list their shadow positions in the infobox. Now to be fair, looking through the archives of WikiProject Canada, there hasn't been much previous discussion of this, aside from some opposition in this discussion about shadow and secretarial positions causing infoboxes to be way too long. You are free to start a new discussion at Wikipedia talk:Canadian Wikipedians' notice board if you think they should be added, as there will probably be more participation there.
