This article uses British English, and since I'm American, I had a bit of trouble with words like emigration/immigration and per cent/percent.

I noticed that there weren't any references in the lead. Could you find some references for it?
"Scottish universities would admit women from 1892." Could you clear that statement up a bit more? Would they do it past 1892, or only 1892?
Why is art education capitalized in "Aberdeen born William Dyce (1806-1864), emerged as one of the most significant figures in Art Education in the United Kingdom."?

It is not normal to have sources in the lead, unless there is something controversial or a quotation (See WP:LEADCITE). It is all sourced in the main body. I will go fix the PD tags.--SabreBD (talk) 14:39, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
