Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because (a) it is a stub in need of expansion, and (b) the sources in the article already demonstrate sufficient coverage. The fact that he is the only "honored guest" resident in Timur's tomb (a notable tomb of a notable emperor, both of which have extensive articles) should be sufficient for significance.
A bit of history: This article got started as a result from a discussion at User talk:Al-Zaidi#Timur, in which I was convinced the subject was notable enough for a stand-alone article, but after that discussion ended, I think we both moved on to other things and this article languished. ~Amatulić (talk) 03:57, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
- It could probably use some more sources, since two of the sources are by the same person and published by the same company. That said, I think the sources are good enough to justify the removal of the speedy tags. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 07:17, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
