  • The two hooks have potential but need work. ALT1 is simply too long and needs to be made more concise. ALT0 lacks context for those who live outside India, as the libel case doesn't seem to be well-known outside of that country. And I'm not sure if the word "infamous" should be in the hook per WP:WTA. @Nizil Shah: can you fix this? I’m clueless here. — Harshil want to talk? 02:39, 5 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Removed Maharaj Libel Case which does not qualify for DYK. Other fixes are coming soon. -Nizil (talk) 05:05, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Harshil169 and Narutolovehinata5: New hook. ALT2: ... that an article criticising Hindu religious leader published in Satyaprakash resulted in a libel case against social reformer Karsandas Mulji?
ALT2a: ... that an article criticising Hindu religious leader published in Satyaprakash resulted in a libel case?
I have proposed ALT2 and shorter ALT2a. Please review them. -Nizil (talk) 05:30, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Nizil Shah: I think words like sexual relations and Vaishnav are vital here.— Harshil want to talk? 07:58, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Harshil169: Sexual is not in the article and Vaishnava would not be understood by non-Indian readers so the current hook is better IMO. -Nizil (talk) 14:42, 11 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
ALT2 & ALT2a are OK. --Gazal world (talk) 11:47, 12 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Narutolovehinata5:. Please review ALTs. -Nizil (talk) 17:32, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Due to being busy with real life I may not be able to review this, but I'd be open to some variation of ALT2a (provided that it's copyedited). Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 00:18, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Narutolovehinata5: Thanks. Should I request for new review as you are busy? The new reviewer will review ALT hooks and the article.-Nizil (talk) 06:46, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Sure. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 10:20, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
ALT3: ...that social reformer Karsandas Mulji won a libel case after he claimed religious texts to be poisonous in the Satyaprakash? ~ R.T.G 23:57, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, and first did some editing on the article. The ALT3 hook fact needs an inline cite after the sentence about the books being poisonous. It's also unclear from the placement of the bolded subject what exactly Satyaprakash is. Personally, I think the hook could be a lot better, focusing on the subject rather than this extraneous detail. Yoninah (talk) 23:29, 5 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Yoninah: is this previously proposed ALT2a better? -Nizil (talk) 06:11, 6 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • ALT2a: ... that an article criticising Hindu religious leaders published in the Satyaprakash weekly resulted in a libel case?
