Question: where satchel charges really used as anti-tank weaposn, or is this a video-game myth?

Yes they were. During WW2, even 1–2-kg charges were sufficient to severely damage the tracks. 4-kg charges were enough to destroy medium tanks. --Hautala 04:19, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Video games?

[edit]

More than half of the satchel charge page is used for video game references. In the picture, it seems to show historical forms of satchel charges and personal explosive devices. Isn't there more information that could be posted about specific forms of real satchel charges? Maybe I should just check out the grenade article.
