I believe Satchel's Pizza to be a notable article because it is a notable part of Gainesville's culture. Satchel's Pizza is a very well known and loved restaurant in this city. It's difficult to drive in heavy traffic without seeing a Satchel's bumper sticker. It employs 47 people, which is a huge amount for a single local pizza restaurant. The wait times can be over an hour; not even the chain restaurants in town can accomplish that. Being able to raise $37,696 in sixteen days demonstrates how many people know about it and want its continued success. Very few restaurants can become so well known in such a populated town, especially when so many residents (students) have only been here for a few years. --Pikamander2 (talk) 14:52, 23 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
FWIW, I declined the speedy request. Not because of this argument, really, but because the business has been the subject of substantial press coverage mostly. If you want it to survive a full-blown deletion discussion (which may or may not happen), finding additional such sources is a good idea. See the guideline for inclusion, which discusses this in more depth. WilyD16:09, 23 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
