This article needs clarification on which of the two names are correct, the second sentence reworded (the information itself seems to be solid) and there needs to be more information on what the creature actually is, if you ask me. Robin Talbot (talk) 20:02, 26 September 2008 (UTC) |

Vampire or people?
[edit]I am confused as there is a source that says the Asanbosam are a people who believe in a vampire called the Loango:
"Loango (LoAN-go)
The Ashanti and Asanbosam people of Africa believe that when a person who used magic in life dies, he will become a vampiric REVENANT.

McFarland falls under verifiable per WP standards so is the Asanbosam a vampire or the name of the people who believe in a vampire?--172.75.14.11 (talk) 14:39, 13 December 2017 (UTC)
Good source?
[edit]Is vampires.com (the fifth source) really a reliable source? If it is, it should be noted that the source describes Asanbosam and Sasabonsam as separate concepts. Calcifer Cancroides (talk) 07:47, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
