US patent 6.576.777 states Sarret while Wikipedia states Sarett. Others name this same oxidation agent Collin's reagent. (even Wikipedia... you might want to link thses two pages together.)

Sarrett is correct. This isn't Collins's method exactly, insofar as the reagent is prepared in situ rather than prior to oxidation. This is a more effective way to prepare Collins reagent; thus, the compound is Collins reagent, but the method is the Sarrett oxidation. OrganicReactions (talk) 21:38, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
