[edit]The link to the documentary 'The Secret Tunnel' seems to be inoperative. Does anyone know a different link, or if this one will be fixed soon? If not, we should remove it. 24.68.249.197 18:47, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- I have removed this link as it is still inoperative. If anyone has a working one, please reinsert it. 24.68.249.197 23:07, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
The conditions
[edit]Would it be worth mentioning the conditions of the tunnel. Water, ammunition, rising water levels and electricity made this potentialy explosive, and made the tunnel highly dangerous.
Also might be worth mentioning the current conditions. The bosnian government did not maintain the tunnel and only 100metres (i believe) was maintained by the Koler family at one end. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.115.147.165 (talk) 12:15, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
Amount of food transported
[edit]20 millions tons of food? Counting population of 500 000 and 3 years of siege, it make abt 30 kg of food per person per day. Unbelievable. Ciacho5 (talk) 19:18, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
Purpose of the Tunnel
[edit]"...and approximately 400,000 Muslims used the tunnel to flee Sarajevo.[46]". The article referred to actually says : "...was a tunnel — a tunnel that saved some 400,000 citizens from starvation, military defeat, and total Serb occupation." It says something else, has different meaning. Refers to food, medical supplies and arms brought into town. Please, see wiki page on demographics of Sarajevo, in city proper and greater city area. 400000 leaving the besieged part of the city would simply mean that the city was deserted through the tunnel. It was not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Urednik2014 (talk • contribs) 15:54, 25 July 2013 (UTC)
