Heterochromia

True, she may not have heterochromia. She might also be an alien visitor from, say, Neptune, but per WP:BLP we would need WP:Reliable sources before making an allegation like that. The only sources I can find of the allegation that it's a contact lens are gossip on blogs and social media. But we do have a reference from Forbes which is primarily about McDaniel's eyes, as made clear in its headline, which then goes on to a lengthy explanation about heterochromia. If someone notable accuses her of that in a WP:Reliable source, then we can write about that. But so far, nobody seems to be keen to libel her about this publicly, so the only thing we can write is what we can WP:Verify. Wikishovel (talk) 10:16, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Honestly if you watch the music video and look at her eyes you can see the contacts. Her dad and sister outted her that she has two brown eyes with pictures to prove it. Saying she doesn't have heterochromia is a fact. Not some speculation, not a "maybe" or "might not". If you have eyes you can see that she literally went for a dangerous proceedure to get one of her eyes blue. It's a shame that she felt the need to fake something she doesn't have. Photos upon mountains of evidence shows she had that proceedure done, not only that, her influences is making impressionable youth to get the same procedure. It's been proven that Sarah McDaniel in fact DOES NOT have heterochromia iridium but just uses contacts, I'd add the the pictures in this but it says that in order for me to do so I have to have taken them with my own camera. Are images that clearly show a contact lens in her eye not enough proof that she is not indeed heterochromatic? Childhood photos

There are some childhood photos of McDaniel viewable at a Dignity Memorial page for her late maternal grandfather - select "VIEW PHOTO GALLERY" and view the 30th image, from 2 April 2006 — McDaniel was then 10 years old. It is merely one example of childhood photos in which McDaniel's eyes are visibly brown. Would this constitute a reliable source? Deltahinds (talk) 02:02, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I tried to make changes to her page but they were deleted. User Greyjoy replied that an edit as controversial as the one I am making needs to be discussed on this page to have a consensus. If I was a bit harsh with my reply to Greyjoy I apologize, but when I read the falsehoods I get nervous. This is what I wrote:

According to all this, it can not be denied that she has dark hazel/brown eyes. If she doesn't use colored contact lenses, she would remain a girl like there are so many, very exhibitionist anyway. Plus, she doesn't have such a remarkable career. If it were not for these colored contact lenses, nobody would know who she is, please...

Sarah McDaniel's own father eventually took to Instagram to post images of McDaniel as a child, clearly showing her eyes as being the same brown color. While working with her former agency L.A. Models, McDaniel was the subject of many high quality photoshoots. In many of these shoots, it was evident that she was wearing a colored contact lens, including in her video shoot with the Chainsmokers for "Closer" ft. Halsey. I see that Wikipedia is ignoring all users who point towards the FACT that Sarah McDaniels heterochromia is fake. Where is the logic in including a StyleCaster article as a "legitimate enough" source, but not HER OWN FATHER'S (Gregory Paul McDaniels) post that it is fake? Where is the justice in this? Her lies are demeaning ACTUAL bully victims, and she is robbing other models who really do have the condition of their chance to shine.
