Date of Birth
[edit]I added a date of birth reference from her companies house page, I wasn't sure if this was a good source or not so please contact me if it isn't. Loweredtone (talk) 14:23, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
- It isn't. I understand why you did it but the beta site is known to have problems and, really, it is a primary source. - Sitush (talk) 05:29, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
- These sources support a 1957 birth: [1] (bearing in mind she started on BP in May 1980), [2]. I've not seen any good sources for 1958. Crisso (talk) 21:18, 11 October 2018 (UTC)
It is possible to look up birth records on www.freebmd.org or www.gro.gov.uk, unfortunately the GRO records have a gap for births between 1919-1984. Thus leaving FreeBMD as the remains and a very good source, this site often has more accurate data than GRO site, I use it for family history purposes. Enter Name ‘Greene” + “Elizabeth S” + mother’s maiden name “Lawrence” then year range 1957-1957 and it confirms a Dec qtr 1957 birth in st Pancras, I won’t include the reference here, to get full birth date one needs to but the actual birth cert. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C7:D04:9A00:2869:3F70:14B0:D8E0 (talk) 20:25, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
Together - Southern TV series, 1980, Not 1979
[edit]"Together", the Southern ITV drama series in which Sarah Greene appeared, began in January 1980, not 1979 (source: TV Times magazine, January 1980: "New series: Together"). I have corrected the year in the article. Also, the original series was not broadcast live - it was recorded three days before transmission. The second series (1981) was broadcast live - and by that time Sarah Greene had left the cast. Source: 40 Years of British Television, Jane Harbord and Jeff Wright, Boxtree pubs, 1992
