Lacking important information

[edit]

This article suffers from three problems: poor English structure, disorganization, and lack of important information, like demographic, economic, and cultural facts. The reader would probably get more information by looking at the city official site, which curiously enough is not mentioned. Vogensen 07:42, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that most of these concerns have been corrected, and for the most part the article looks quite good. Perhaps someone should remove the cleanup cite? Tolstoy143: Quos vult perdere dementat 00:47, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Football Clubs
As part of that needed cultural discussion, how about a bit about the city's two soccer clubs, Oriente and Blooming.Sierravista uva 16:27, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia

[edit]

There are many Japanese-made taxi cabs modified for left-hand driving? What does that even mean? --Descendall 02:32, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Japanese drive on the other side of the road. So their taxis have to be adapted for use in Bolivia. Jameswilson 03:16, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I lived in Santa Cruz 20 years ago. I don't recall those cabs, however it may be likely. This article can be improved with better grammar and more info. I also noticed there was nothing for arts, culture and music. Can someone add these sections?

I can confirm that many Santa Cruz taxi cabs have had the steering wheel displaced from the right side and put on the left side. The result is a void in front of the passenger (right). The instrument panel is still on the right side, and typically does not function.Sierravista uva 16:27, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is no culture in Santa Cruz, which may pose a slight problem for content. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.143.181.47 (talk) 14:18, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Population

[edit]

The population data on Santa Cruz which were given in the article (1,5 m in 2006) refer to the Santa Cruz municipality and not to the Santa Cruz urban area. I have added the 2008 figures of the urban population although this makes the information a bit more complex to read -- Meister (talk) 14:58, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Food

[edit]

That list is very long and there is a lot of food listed that is eaten at many other places. Could someone focus this more on food that is really special for this city? Galant Khan (talk) 23:08, 2 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
