Current Affairs and the Need for Neutrality, Comprehensiveness and No Censorship!
[edit]Be informed that the policies WP:PROMOTION i.e. advocacy of any sort must be avoided and neutral point of view WP:NPOV must be upheld. It is especially important when current affairs and politics are discussed that on should be careful of WP:NOTCENSORED and have a more WP:COMPREHENSIVE view. From a European, maybe a more depassionate view, it is very disheartening to see that advocacy and censorship is taking a firmer grip on editors from Northern America and intertwined current affairs. Anyone with strong views on the 2016 US presidential elections for or against one candidate and is from Northern America, should think ten times over before removing or censoring well documented and relevant material. Wikipedia is not a Democracy WP:NOT#DEM, so no misuse of the WP:CONSENSUS by hitting with the "Consensus Shtick". Wikipedia is not political war zone, it is inclusive. - Does this comment have anything to do with the content of this article? Safehaven86 (talk) 16:34, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
- There is no problem with undue weight. I agree that there should wp:notcensored and that it must be wp:comprehensive. The article about Sandy Newman is in it's beginning/infancy and anything you add that isn't basic bio, can be claimed to be "undue weight". With that premise nothing will be added if it has to fit some construed sequence & order - that just seems to be a cover for wp:promotion by the use of wp:cherrypicking. So please, hold your horses and respect wp:notcensored. PS If you want to make the sentence leaner, add something, change, don't just bulldoze it in the name of wp:promotion Mauri Kunnas (talk) 11:28, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
