Hamilton?[edit]

I don't believe that Hamilton had anything to do with the attempted demolition of Sandy Hook Light. The links say William Malcolm and Benjamin Tupper, before Hamilton's artillery company was formed; and shortly after that Hamilton left for New Jersey - and NY lost control of New York Harbor for the duration of the war.
