Inaccurate statement

I removed the following:

Unlike most scenes, the San Francisco hardcore scene went on with little local conflict due to the city's liberal culture. Even the local chief of police was said to be a hardcore fan.

In fact, there was a great deal of conflict between the San Francisco PD and the punk scene during the Diane Feinstein era. And the Cheif of Police was not a punk fan – the writer is thinking of San Francisco Sheriff Michael Hennessey, who is in charge of the county jail, not the police department.
