I would like to edit the following: -Add section about San Clemente Pier -Mention Casa Romantica -Update population to 2019 data: 63,249, -Add that it is also the southernmost city in Orange County -Add more to the surfing and education category. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Haleighbartow (talkcontribs) 19:09, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Chris Hamm is no longer the mayor, it's Bob Baker.

These two paragraphs sit one on top of the other in this order:

"He named the City "San Clemente" after San Clemente Island which was named by the explorer Vizcaino in 1602 after Saint Clement, the patron saint of November 23, the day of Vizcaino's arrival on the island.

The city of San Clemente was founded in 1925 by real estate developer (and former mayor of Seattle) Ole Hanson who named it San Clemente after a town in Spain. As it were, San Clemente Island was named after the city later since it is directly west of the coast. Hanson envisioned it as a Spanish-style coastal resort town, a "Spanish Village by the Sea."

Which way is it?

Error on Page

[edit]

In the info box, under Government Type you guys have Feb 28 1928, that seems to be wrong. Is that the town's Est date or should the Govt Type be Democratic? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.99.60.202 (talk) 12:39, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Restaurants Section

[edit]

I'd like to start a 'restaurants' section featuring the restaurants in San Clemente.. such as http://izzapizzeria.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vectorinformatics (talkcontribs) 17:37, 29 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'd appreciate this, on account of never being able to find any good restaurants open after 3:00pm here. 70.187.153.228 (talk) 06:38, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Update Climate

[edit]

Use updated climate data for 2023 instead of 2021(? or sooner).
