Airport Passenger/Airline Statistics
[edit]I updated the article with the airport's most recent release from April 2006. [1] Trans States is not listed yet. Clipper471 01:06, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
2005 passenger number
[edit]The airport has released the 2006 passenger numbers. But in the process, they have reported a different 2005 passenger count. The airport's website shows 7,425,983 here and 7,437,290 here. Clipper471 17:00, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- I believe the recent introduction of 7,437,290 must be an error. The release of 2005 numbers here shows 7,425,983. Clipper471 17:16, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- I received confirmation from the airport that the original release (7,425,983) did not include some charter traffic. The corrected 2005 count is 7,437,290. Clipper471 05:05, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
Facts that need to be edited into the article
[edit]Terminal 1(A), a new 360000 square-foot terminal, was opened to the public in 1984 http://www.sanantonio.gov/aviation/info_history.asp
Terminal 2 has 205,000 square feet www.sanantonio.gov/rfp/documents/AVI_WiFi_RFP.pdf
Terminal B will have 204,000 square feet
Terminal C will have 176,000 square feet Kgrr (talk) 22:42, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
Address
[edit]IMHO, it would be helpful to add the physical location address to the "location" of the infobox. The address is 9800 Airport Boulevard, San Antonio, Texas. Any support or objections for this addition? Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 21:19, 13 December 2013 (UTC)
Orphaned references in San Antonio International Airport
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of San Antonio International Airport's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 11:56, 10 August 2014 (UTC)
Busiest international destinations
[edit]What's going on with the busiest international destinations table? The "Source" is just a generic BTS Transtats page, with no indication how to search for international departure numbers out of SAT. The numbers given are in a weird format (59,68 - is that 5,968, or 59.68 thousand?), and there cannot have been passengers to Guatemala City, Montego Bay, or San Salvador, as no airline operates to those cities from SAT.Mirza Ahmed (talk) 19:39, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
You make a valid point. I’m guessing whoever initially did this table was not looking at real statistics. Other than possibly those who too Xtra Airways back when they were operating charter flights from SAT. Still wouldn’t be accurate counts though since many fly commercial airlines to hub cities & then to international destinations. Pcrum40 (talk) 09:55, 20 January 2019 (UTC)
Noticed autocorrect hit me on my response. Shouldn’t be other than should be other possibility & too should be took. Serves me right for not double checking. Pcrum40 (talk) 09:58, 20 January 2019 (UTC)
Nonstop Flights
[edit]I would like to know where peiple are getting these notes on Frontier flights that they claim are no longer operating when Frintier’s Website & SAT are both reporting they are still in operation. Ive also noticed that there are several flights that are year round offered by Frontier that are in the seasonal spot. Whenever I edit them they are removed even though I am putting my references in my posts. What’s they deal? It’s very frustrating! Pcrum40 (talk) 10:07, 20 January 2019 (UTC)
