Birth location in lead

[edit]

MOS:FIRSTBIO and MOS:CONTEXTBIO are clear that birth location doesn't go in lead or SD. As for being a British actor, other than two minor appearances in British TV series episodes, all significant and notable acting activity is in American films. That is insufficient to consider him a British actor. He left UK and grew up in US, lives in US, works in US. Geraldo Perez (talk) 23:38, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure why "American films" are relevant. His mother is British, he has British citizenship, he was born and and spent his childhood in the UK. "British-American" would work. cagliost (talk) 11:20, 5 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
"American films" are relevant as they were filmed in the US, which is where he he lives and works. He is an American citizen at birth, living in the US, with his notable work done in the US. British-American is an ethnicity and doesn't belong. Saying he is a British actor isn't supported by what is in the article. Geraldo Perez (talk) 17:33, 5 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
