Split off a Sam McDonald bio article?
[edit]Sam McDonald, the person who donated the core land of this park, is I believe notable enough to merit a biography article about McDonald himself. Maybe I will get to it myself, maybe this will encourage others. In addition to the sources in this article, Stanford University's alumni magazine just ran a profile of him:
- Scott, Sam (July 2023). "Meet Stanford's First Black Administrator". Stanford Magazine. Vol. 52, no. 3. Stanford Alumni Association. pp. 40–46. ISSN 1063-2778. Retrieved 2023-08-14.

- Also an article on him in Sandstone & Tile, Winter 1983, 7(2) https://exhibits.stanford.edu/shs/catalog/fv248hm7049 I've also thought he deserves an article. Erp (talk) 02:09, 15 August 2023 (UTC)
